Me and a european Excalibur dealer tried Quickspins on the Excalibur carbon shafts ( Series 22 Carbon ) with target points. And then we compared it with the original vanes. We used a Vixen for the test. The thing we found out was that the Quickspins made the arrow a bit slower. :?

Thanks for your fast reply. I have emailed Excalibur a while back without an answer. So I thought maybe you guys where faster  I will never go under 350grains but I am doing some experiments with different arrows for long distance (100m) target shooting. Would like to try some thin...long ones...

Exomax Arrows

I am trying out different arrows with my Exomax. How thin arrows can I use with it? Would be glad if I could get answer in milimeter. I would not like to do a dryfire because I use too thin arrows :(

I agree with sumner4991.... I am a recurve man and I guess I will stay that way but I think most of us are attracted to speed. I do remember so many postings I read in this forum talking about the power and speed of the Exomax. I am looking forward in trying the Stryker...but I am sure I will stay w...

GaryL....I guess you are right. But that is a thing that made me disapointed. :( When they come with a new update, why not equip it with limbs that can handle fastflight. Maybe next update

:D Impressed! We are some shooters here in Sweden that are interested in long distance shooting too. My new project is to prepare an Exomax for this purpose. Did you know they have competetions like that in Germany? What kind of scope mount do you use? I can see most people are limited to shoot that...

Well, I cant say there are alot of crossbow shooters over here. A big reason for that is the demand for licens för crossbows. But Im sure it will grow in future. Much because of the intruduction of new disciplines. I can see the historical crossbow shooting growing rapidly and this year was the firs...
