3D around Peterborough

Does anybody here shoot 3D around or near Peterborough?

I want to give it a go this year. Looks fun.

Re: New to Forum, after ELK!

A 175 lb Excalibur is still more powerful than most people's compound bows. No need for anything bigher.

Re: arrow wrap length?

I used to use full length 7 inch also but they're much too long and look odd with the short vanes in my opinion. So I now use the 4 inch wraps I believe.

Re: Trail Cameras

I use Spypoint cameras. I just used a Micro Sd card in an sd card adapter and swap cards when I check the camera. Then I can view everything on my phone with the micro sd.

Re: Just wanted to say hello

Welcome! You picked the right place for information! There isn't a better bunch of people to chat crossbows and hunting with. I'm not sure why I don't come here very often anymore.

Enjoy your Matrix and good luck hunting with it!

That's the king of fletching jigs I just thought the Arizona fit the "real world price" tag he mentioned. :)

kudos to excalibur

I've been seeing a lot of other manufacturers crossbows lately and they all look like something from star trek lol.

I still say Excalibur are the nicest looking crossbows out there.

I've had enough of the snow myself! I'm glad I'm done making it for the season.

Looks like lots of action on your cams!

405 fps?!

I haven't paid much attention to the crossbow market lately but I'm seeing an Excalibur pushing 405 fps now?! That's insane. Almost ridiculous. Pretty soon you'll need a firearm license to possess one lol.

I can imagine looking for your bolt after a pass through must be a hunt in itself.

Re: my view this morning

Sorry I forgot to write anything haha.

No doe tags unfortunately.

Had a doe and fawn come by me this morning. Could have smoked the doe if we had a doe tag. :(
