Re: Mounting range finder to xbow
I have thought about mounting my rangefinder to my xbow as well. But decided just to wait until an xbow scope is available with one integrated that is accurate and affordable. For now I range the trees around me.

Re: 2 blade broadheads
I shoot Afflictor Broadheads, they are two blade with bleeders. They don’t like rocks though. I did however shoot one through both shoulders on a doe out of my M405.

Re: matrix or micro
I shoot a bulldog 380 and 400 but use the charger crank on each. I owned an Assassin for a short time and loved the integrated cocker; it shot great too. My advice would be to get a model that will accept the charger crank; it saves your back. My uncle traded for a matrix 330, he is in his 60's, I t...

Re: Multigenerational twist
Does your son realize medical school is about $500,000. My nephew recently graduated with $450,000 in loans. His dad was able to help him but not cover the total cost. My daughter graduates high school in 2 years; she plans to go to medical school. I will be helping as much as possible as college is...

Re: Looking for a Harness
I like my spider safety harness, it has a place to strap my range finder. I did buy a descent system but have not used it. It will lower me 20 feet in the event I fall and can’t get back in my stand.

Re: Exodus Lift II Trail Cam
I don’t have any experience with the Exodus trail cams but I do put out a lot of them year round. I run 12 cameras where I hunt on public land. All in bear boxes and I can the boxes by glueing tree bark to the box on all sides except the back. I use a python lock, which u can find lots of 3 or more ...

Re: Looking for insight - New to xbow
My neighbor loves his micro 335. I have shot it and it feels great; easy to cock with the rope cocker too. For me my BD380 will be going to the woods with me this year. It shoots great and is easy to cock back. But any Excalibur xbow you choose will serve you well. If you are able to shoot one befor...

Re: How to mount the GoPro
Is there a way to mount a camera like a Go Pro and not have some distortion after the arrow is released? I have a camera and get clear video before but once the shot is taken the video is not as focused. I was thinking about something on top of my scope.

Re: OT \ Ticks
Lots of ticks here in Missouri. Just spent the day in the woods checking cameras and putting out trophy rocks. So far I have found none on me but they were on my backpack. I use a combo of natural tick spray and Cabelas tick suit.

I thought about naming my Mega405- Great White. It reminded me of the movie Jaws- it ate everything in its path.

Re: Bison
I love the taste of bison meat; actually prefer it over beef. I hope you kill a big one and take home about 1200 pounds of meat. If you have not ate it, it has a sweet taste to it. A cardiologist once told me it is the healthiest red meat you can eat. Happy hunting, we will all be waiting for a pict...

Less than 5 months until bow season
I am already itching to get out there and hunt. I need to take up turkey hunting. The weather has allowed me to shoot my bulldogs and I have some bolts coming from South Shore so I can't wait. The HHA is great on the range so I can't wait to get up in the stand and shoot that first deer using it. I ...

Re: New micro 355 cheek piece issue
I contacted Dawn when I stripped mine out on the bulldog 380. She stated they would take care of it. I just decided to buy a larger fastener and glue it in. I have not had any problems with it since.
