Lumizone Scope

I have this scope and like it very much. The intensity of the red crosshairs/chevrons is adjustable making it great for low light through to bright sunlight. It certainly allows to superimpose the crosshair/chevrons onto the deer in those last few minutes of shooting time.
I recommend it.

Cursed Canal

Grizz that was a big job for sure. By your info re water levels, Munch put forth the concern re water levels. Is there much current when the water depth is 8-9 ft? Good luck and hope it stands the test. You will enjoy the convenience for sure.

I tend to agree with Wabi on the frequency point. If possible have 2 sites that you can alter in use. Grizz and Mike P: This is a very generous gesture that the 2 of you have going. Certainly hope that it is successful as it may lead to a full time job. Have you made up business cards. hahahaha bbbwb

Accuracy Problems

A friend was having similar problems in that it would shoot fine this shot and the next would be off. He was using a rope cocking aid and so thought there was consistency in the cocking. However, on careful observation it was noted that he was not being consistent in the use of the aid. He was not ma...

Sax: A man after my own heart ----- "a humpback". I have a 1971, light 12, 12 ga., and I was able to pick up a 1967, 3 " 20 ga for my daughter. They are a reliable unit and it is too bad that they are discontinued. Nice pictures of your camp and no doubt a load of memories. Good Luck....

Flashlight On

CF: I have used a green light for a few years now but very sparingly. I travel in the dark to my stand and very seldom put on the light. I purchased it because of the fact of the deer vision. I still assumed that the light, if left on as one is walking, will be moving somewhat and if not the colour,...

Your experience is in my books the true meaning and sensation of HUNTING. As a fellow forum member has stated " meat is a bonus"
Good Luck on future outings, and don't stop.

Solunar Forecasts

Look forward to hearing of your findings. I just started to follow these tables. It will be interesting to see what differences in activity may show up with the inclusion of firearm hunts. How strong are these influences of sun and moon etc. on the wildlife?
