I have this scope and like it very much. The intensity of the red crosshairs/chevrons is adjustable making it great for low light through to bright sunlight. It certainly allows to superimpose the crosshair/chevrons onto the deer in those last few minutes of shooting time.
I recommend it.

Grizz that was a big job for sure. By your info re water levels, Munch put forth the concern re water levels. Is there much current when the water depth is 8-9 ft? Good luck and hope it stands the test. You will enjoy the convenience for sure.

I tend to agree with Wabi on the frequency point.If possible have 2 sites that you can alter in use. Grizz and Mike P: This is a very generous gesture that the 2 of you have going.
