2006 Bull Moose, I took this bull just after 7:00am. Ran about 50yds and crashed hard. Was able to ambush Cow with a bull and the Paradox took them both. A hunt of a Life time! http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj264/Doxnut_archery/moosehunt2006021.jpg http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj264/Doxnu...

Well I personally have been against mechanicals, since they have proven themselves to fail in one way or another. Todays fixed blades are awesome, the ones I use group easy 2.5" at 50yds, free-hand. I personally don't care to hunt animals at long ranges, but it's nice knowing my equipment is ca...

Welcome...........

Like many here, I'm an excalibur nut. I've owned about 7 models threw the years besides accuracy and quality. Also It's nice to know your buying a quality product designed and made in Canada. No "Made in China" Here!

I totally enjoy shooting my crossbows more once I made myself a raised cheek peice. I enjoy heavy contact between cheek and stock, less head float reducing my group sizes. My first design about 4 years ago was a tie-on design, but murphy's law made me go with a glue on design.

I agree with Wabi, you can not compare apples to oranges. They both have their place in the world of hunting tools.

Myself I use a .22-250 Husqvarna Nitro, projecting a Nosler ballistic 55gr. Sure turns small critter quickly. With a quality placed shot, small and medium game just drop.

ABOUT TIME EASTON

Well finally Easton has introduced a new line of shafts, for crossbows. Hopefully sometime in the new year my order will arrive, one company with high quality control. + or - 2 grains sounds pretty good.

MERRY CHRISTAMS AND HAPPY NEW YEARS! EVERYONE
