Gary I use the rope cocking aid. The shop where I bought it told me they thought it was sharp edges on the riser but the serving is coming apart where the trigger hooks hold the string.

Thanks for the help. RJ that is exactly what I was wondering, if I needed the winter camo and by the way it looks awesome. I am going to give it a try again tonight.

first snow

I was wondering if the first snowfall in the area would be a good hunting day or wait till they get used to the snow on the ground? Hope you guys with all the experience might help someone relatively new. And is camo still effective in snow conditions or do you need white gear?

That was my post above. One thing I forgot to say was not to shoot expandable broadheads at this target, I learned that the hard way. I broke two blades off in the target and I shot in the same spot and the buried blades cut a brand new carbon bolt on me.

NAP Crossfire

Has anyone else bought these ? I bought a set Sat and shot them at my target, they seem very accurate. Just wondering if anyone else had tried them yet.

I had the same problem with mine on Sat but the reason was my scope mounting bolts were loosening off with every shot I took which let the scope tip downward. I am going to get some lock tite tomorrow to make sure that does happen again. Maybe that is not the problem but just check it to be sure.
