Exocet Upgrades

Hi, I bought my 165 lb carved limb Exocet back in 99. Since then, i've upgraded it to Dissipitor Bars, Mag Tip limbs, FF string and improved it's overall performance. At the Carp Sportmans Show, i was told the new Exocet 200 is not actually 'new' but an improvement over the Exocet. And the only diff...

There's all kinds of hockey going on!!!! If i can't have Sens hockey, the next best team is the Ottawa 67's or the Hull Olympiques I've always said, Junior 'A' is just as fast, just as hard hitting and just as exciting as any NHL game anywhere....and at a fraction of the cost. The next stop for Juni...

Grey Wolf,

RE: DOMI, I think Tye said he was 6' 4", NOT 4'6"

Speaking of the Leafs, i hear they're applauding up/down Yonge St. about

Spraying WD-40 on your lures has been around for 15+ years...the operative word is 'lures'....it'll weaken monofilament line and deteriate plastic...lures.

Bstout/Golden Eagle, Using hot melt glue, i heat the glue stick and then apply the melted glue to both the carbon insert and inside wall of the aluminum bolt. I guess if i wanted something more permanent, i would use epoxy. The 2117 carbon inserts fit all my 21XX (2114, 2115 and 2117) arrows/bolts. ...

You can also get carbon inserts, much lighter than the aluminum and i think they're a little more gentle on the serving.

Raboul, All the areas you are interested in have a good turkey population. A good starting point would be to contact the MNR in Kemptville. Have them send you their latest color map (it covers WMU 63A, 63B, 64A, 64B, 65, 66A, 66B and 67). The Marlborough Forest and surrounding farmland would be a pr...

Speedball/Tom, Both the NAP Spitfire XP PRO and NAP Scorpion XP are cut-on-contact mechanicals. I haven't used either, only the NAP Spitfire, and agree that some sort of arrow arrester is required for turkey hunting. I found a rubber grommet at a local hardware store....it works great! As far as the...

Try the NAP Spitfire's. They have a turkey load, too. What's nice about them, they don't use bands or elastics. Instead, they use a friction tab which has a set screw allowing you to adjust the amount of tension. I've used them with a 54 lb. vertical and a 175 lb Exocet and haven't ever experienced ...

Optimum shot placement would be # 1 Blue.

Hey Swampidus,

In vertical, nothing beats a Hoyt.
I've got 3 of them: Eclipse, Hunter TD and ProTec.

In Xbow, nothing beats an Excalibur
I've got an Exocet and soon.......the Phoenix.
