half moon nocks
I was just wondering I have seen many references as to not shooting half moon nocks on excalibur bows, I haven't read anything as to why not to use them, I shot that type of arrow off of my old horton without any problem so why not an excalibur? M&M

I think we all should remember why we hunt. For me it is the experience of being outdoors and taking in all that the good Lord has provided for free. If I shoot a deer great, but if I don't that is ok also because I also enjoy the time in the woods, whatching the greatest show on earth, nature. M&am...

I agree with you on the 30 yard limit that has allways been my self imposed limit too many variables the further out you get, wind, that small unseen twig, and so on. Although since about 1990 I have hunted with a horton hunter and velocity is in the 250-260 area now with my new exocet I might be wi...

try this take a 5 gallon bucket fill it with crack corn then pour in two 2 litre bottles of coke let the corn soak it up good and then put it down and the deer will just tear it up, and it is cheap so your not out a lot of money if you don't have any success. I tried this method last year and it did...

great info. for all to use another thing to consider is sometimes a deer when shot will follow a creek. three years ago I shot a doe from a tree stand there was no doubt about the shot placement I saw the arrow make a perfect vital lung hit. I tracked that deer and after it had covered about 75 yard...

crossbow hunting show
Just putting my 2 cents in I love to watch all the hunting shows on tv. and there is a lot of good bow hunting shows but I have not seen a single hunting show that embraces crossbow hunting I think if excalibur would sponser such a show it would be a big hit and they could dispell some of the untrue...
