Most likely my 870. It's the only gun I use nowadays.
Unless Ecoaster and I have another scramble, then I will use his to scare the birds.

I would love to make another one, although there would have to be some changes. I only make one-of-a-kind pieces.

Will it be a paint finish when complated?
Thanks. Yes the cabinet will recieve a couple coats of flat black, with a silver faux finish to help "age" it. Makes me wish I had a compound bow.

By the sounds of it you won't have much to learn. 250 kills says you already know how to hunt, and are skilled in the woods. You should be good to go after a few hours of practice.

Re: The Winter ( warning graphic )
No problem with that picture. My son, who is turning 2 at the end of April, has witnessed life and death through my pets. I feed my lizard mice, and he has watched. He was brought into the garage while last years doe was hanging. Watches hunting videos and tv shows with me. He also likes to look at ...

Looks like an english bull terrier. Probably grabbed the porqupine and started shaking it. Those dogs don't feel much pain. Although that looks awful.
The dog would have to be anesthetized with injectables because you couldn't get a tube down its throat.

Re: BH's. Whats the most expensive?
The most expensive ones are the ones that you lose. I can't see titanium having any advantage over stainless steel blades that are already "razor sharp". If you were to compare titanium coated drill bits to black oxide jobber bits I would take the black oxide ones anyday. Resharpen a titan...

I looked through the pics a half dozen times. Didn't see a crossbow. But a jingle came to mind "Alice the camel has two humps...."

I haven"t commented yet, but have been following the story. This is definately a labour of love, unless Boo is holding you hostage with some sorted blackmail.
The stock is looking awesome.
Oh yeah, the shipping address has been changed, not sure if you were made aware.

Cool video. Funny how the second one comes in thinking he's gonna score, then sees the big boy. I'm sure he was like "Oh s**t!!"
