Re: got it! micro
thanks norm. i will adjust it tomorrow and shoot again. the guy at the bow shop said the stock quills weighed 246 so with a 125 grain head im shooting 371 gr. im glad they shoot that accurate because 125 gr gives way more options on choosing a broadhead. i shoot rage through my vertical bow but lean...

Re: ?speed?
I just sold my Ibex which was flinging at 262 fps with 486gn bolt. It killed 10 deer and 16 hogs. I started with bolts weighing at 400 gn They would blow thru but did not produce great injury. i dont know about this? i think a pass threw is a pass through. if your going through a deer without "...

Re: ?speed?

But the formula for getting the ke has been stated to be speed x speed x weight / 450240. so how can you tal...

Re: cant decide
i didnt realize it would take more force to deploy a 170gr spitfire than a 125 or 100 spitfire. the cutting dia is smaller on the 170. the quills are 250 so with the 170 the total weight would be 420. is that too heavy for a micro? i been reading alot about heavier arrows being better for hunting an...

Re: New Micro Owner, string advice
The factory trigger is very good but if you want the best a triggertech is the way to go. I do not own one but have shot one and it is awesome. A nice custom made flemish string is a fine way to dress up your bow and make it a smoother shooter. There are a number of great string makers on this foru...
