I have a bunch of quills and the same one went through 4 deer this year and one last. But i saw guys talking about getting better groups by indexing...

Re: riddle me this....

little update.... went over all screws on bow today. found nothing loose. tried shooting like i always did resting off the forgrip rather than the dr sturip and had to "undo" the adjustments i made at 20 yesterday. (about an inch up and inch right) then shot at 50 again resting off the gri...

Re: Spitfire gobbler getters

they look just like the spitfire maxx i use but with a dull head? i was just going to us the regular spitfires. maybe a couple of the ones that went through a deer once. they look good but i never have reused them. always put on a new one.

Re: riddle me this....

I suggest shooting off sandbags for setup and checking sight marks. Using the Dr Stirrup foot rest off a hard bench can change your harmonics and change your poi.. Also, it'll be hard to maintain level using the dr stirrup as a bipod. Paul good idea. before i change too much i will rest off the for...

riddle me this....

micro 335 with stock quills was shooting dead nuts on at all ranges at beginning of season. Killed 2 deer with it and seemed to hit both of them higher than i aimed but i figured they just dropped some. Santa brought me a Dr. Stirup! So i put it on last night. I went out today to make sure everythin...

Re: lighted knock question

Ya the stock nocks with the threaded holes are glued in TIGHT. which i like because it makes pulling arrows so much easier.

Does that paint stay on and lay flat? as in it wont be rubbing off going down the rail or making a mess on the bow?

Re: lighted knock question

but if they came in a pack with an adapter that screwed on the front end that weighed the same as the lighted nock going on the back it should balance things out. you could shoot targets when ever with your stock arrows then come hunting season screw on the nocks and adapters and rezero go hunt. wis...

Re: lighted knock question

right but any lighted knock adds weight to the back but i guess it would be more because you would just be adding and not replacing.

pse fang?

anyone have one? i bought one as a back up and for my boys or their girl friends to use. its really a nice bow so far. it cocks easy. has a better trigger than my micro and is just as accurate. im not saying it is excal quality but it will certainly work for putting holes in freezer queens.

lighted knock question

i see alot of guys using lighted nocks. i shoot the stock quills and like being able to just buy a 6 pack of them and they are plenty accurate for my needs. i know they sell quills with lighted knocks already on and you can go the custom arrow route or some guys even remove the stock aluminum knocks...
