That speed sounds about right with a 400+ bolt weight.
With my exocet 200 and a 430+/- bolt I chronographed an average 321 fps.

150 yards IMO would be my maximum. With a properly placed shot. I use a 222 Rem on chucks with a maximum of 225 yards with a 50 to 55 gr bullet @ 3200 fps.
