That speed sounds about right with a 400+ bolt weight.

With my exocet 200 and a 430+/- bolt I chronographed an average 321 fps.

I have learned much from books, but the most from the stories about the Benoits. I enjoyed the way the books were written, kept my interest peaked.

150 yards IMO would be my maximum. With a properly placed shot. I use a 222 Rem on chucks with a maximum of 225 yards with a 50 to 55 gr bullet @ 3200 fps. Enjoyed the pictures, saxman.

My dad & I spent alot of time hunting, even with his parkinsons I still took dad just to get him outta the house. Those memories are priceless. :wink:

can anyone vouch for the quality of the Cir-cut fletching stripper ?

I'm puchasing a few items to start rolling my own bolts and just trying to save a few dollars.
