Saw a half rack here in Ohio last weekend. Very large buck, had five points on the rack.

Last year there were several bucks in the area that carried thier antlers into late May. Some of the other guys at work also observed the same with the bucks in thier areas.

I first xbow was a Horton purchased in 1990, I hunted with both vertical & horizontal bows up to a few years ago. I have taken more deer than I can remember, (getting up in years), but I have enjoyed each & every hunt. Last July I got an Exocet 200. the Excal is great. I've shot several hund...

Corvus, sounds like you found a good butcher. We have butchered our own deer for over 30 years. Most processors return little meat for the size of the deer at an exorbitant price. And you can't be sure that you are getting the meat from the deer you checked in. I learn to butcher from a family membe...

Wes, Proceed with caution - hunting the hunters is addictive, but a great challenge. We are having a warm winter so fur is no good down here - in fact I was going to go to Maine for bobcat hunting and no snow and 50 degrees up there so that's shot too. I am envious of the Northerners. On www.predet...

I'm a classic 1948 model, in need of some restoration. I have hunted since the age of 12. Wife used to say that she was a widow 6 months of the year (huntin' season). Then we moved out to the farm, she's happy & I'm happy. Most of my son's and my hunting is done within a 1000 yards of the house.

Nice buck!

Ohio has plenty to feed 'em. I am not seeing much movement now. Maybe the warm weather slowed them down a bit?

I'm envious of the Ontario bucks from the pictures posted on this forum.
