The Shooter

It pretty sad that something like this has to happen, what was this guy thinking? The news paper messed up some about the incident as well. Says the guy was using an SKS which is similar to a 30-06. Man the news people just never seem to get it right . Now all hunters are carrying assault rifles if ...

Prices

Beef prices at the farm gate are in the toilet, Wheat prices are down, I can buy dry corn for about 2.70/bushel Canadian ( This is about 35cents over what the farmer was paid for it. The elevator also charged the farmer who delivered it for drying, elevation ,dockage , and storage.) The middle men a...

Trigger Pull

I picked up a 2003 model Exo Mag for a good price and sold my old model Exocet ( 165 # withe Auto Safety on the side of the rail ) I have been shooting it a fair amount and the accuraccy is as good as my old exocet. The trigger on the E-mag is quite a bit heavier and has more creep. I have not looke...

Never say never

About 5 years back I spotted one along#3 highway near Chatham. About 2am on my way home from work. I had to give my head a shake in disbelief. Told the wife and said not to say a word of it. A few weeks later other people in the area had seen it, and there were a few articles in the Local paper .The...

wheelers

I can go on a 15 plus minute rant about atv's, snowmobiles and 4wd Trucks. They ride in my standing crops, on the dikes along my property and pretty well ride anywhere else they like. And they wonder why I am angry, when I do manage to stop one. ( the last one I caught was about 12 years old, with a...

I have been to Bass Pro at Great Lakes Crossing Mall in Pontiac Mich., it is BIG. It is not hard for the employees to tell you are from Canada when they see us Ouhing and Ahhing as soon as we get in the door. The Cabela's store in Dundee, Michigan is even bigger. You can not beat these places for th...

Brass Inserts

I believe the inserts were to add front/ rear weight to the arrow to either get proper FOC on the arrow; Or in other cases to get the arrow weight up for more Kinetic Energy. I have not heard of anyoe using them in some time.

Anyone here use one to hunt with thier crossbow? Any opinion on what I should look for in a blind. How are they to hunt from ? Work is ...
