I have a Vortex and have killed my last two bucks with rage 2 blade.I have had the bow three years and have shot a buck each of those 3 years including last Wednesday 11/3/2010.I have been very happy with the Excalibur products.I like the recurve limbs so I can change my string in the field.

I did lots of research on this forum and others last year before I bought my Vortex last year.I agree with what the others are saying about the ease of use and less maintenance. I bought all my Excal. equipment fron bowhunterssuperstore and they were great to deal with.

I guess I can not complain, I got my Vortex Sept 2008 and harvested a mature 8 point in 2008 and a 4 1/2 year old 11 point Oct 16 this season. Maybe I will have to cell my rifles since I have not used them for two years. Also harvested a long beard this past spring.

Hopefully get a chance to harvest the buck that was sparing with the eleven point I got (xbow) a week before I harvested him. Hope he made it through the season.
