I killed a many a deer with that gun but sold it to a member of our old club so that I could make a truck payment. That was about 17 years ago and I ran into the grandson of the guy that I sold ...

Re: Shot a buck

We have some wonderful times together in the ourdoors :D . That smile of his will melt your heart and he is just as true and sincere about his hunting as anyone out there. I don't think that he will ever have a problem filling his tags. He decided to donate his buck (minus the rack 8) to the Hunter'...

Re: ladder stands

By far the best ladder stands I've used (and I use a lot of 'em) are the Big Game treestands. Of those, the Titan is probably the most comfortable commercially built stand I have ever used. I could literally fall to sleep in it if I wasn't careful! The Titan is a 16 footer but if you really want a ...

In other words, you work all week and ready to go hunting on saturday but the calander says your only day off is going to stink. Do you stay home ...

Whew, that will never happen again in a million years buddy  . Tyler, you are are a very respectful young man that has learned and accepted the same values that my fathers instilled in me. All of that "Yes Sir" and "No Sir" that you were taught as a child was for a reason a...

Maybe, just maybe ..... UPDATE: See Longshot's post.

It was a late night last night. Tyler shot a nice buck at last light yesterday evening. We looked for 2 hours and could not find him. No blood but I swear I heard the bullet hit something and the ground is tore up where he shot him at. We are going to take our lab, Mocha and see if we can find anyth...
