Personally, I refuse to give a dime to either Rogers or Bell for a specialty channel to be constantly bombarded by advertisers. It's one thing to watch and pay for a feature length film but I draw the line at infomercials. Same goes with so called Sportsman shows. Let the manufacturers and organizer...

During deer archery season I basically could not take a stand without at least seeing a coyote. Now that I am targeting them there are none to be seen. I know they are in the area from the fresh tracks I see in the snow but I have yet to bring one into sight. I purchased a Power Dogg electronic call...

Quick question here.

When upgrading from a POL to a PAL and challenging the exam, is it strictly a written test or is there also a practical / hands on firearm portion to it?

Ironic or what! Yesterday I post a reply about the lack of deer in the Ottawa area and this morning I find what's left of a deer after the coyotes are done with it in my back yard. This concerns me as I live in a rural sub division and no hunting allowed. Was it healthy and taken down? Was it hit by...

I have to agree. Deer population is definitely down. I have been hunting every weekend since season opener and have yet to see the white tail of one yet. The farmer and hunt camp next door report the same. This is despite preparing nice food plots for them. No fresh tracks anywhere. Nothing! There i...

My comments to the EBR.

"I would like to propose that the spring turkey license and tag not filled during that period be valid for the fall hunt of that year. Otherwise, once again having to purchase a seal for the fall hunt becomes just another money grab."

Congratulations on the gorgeous and huge buck.

Not intended to offend but just wanting to know how the head and tail can stand upright like that without support.
Rigor mortis had already set in? Frozen solid?
