Swamp bucky comes for a visit
Not an archery deer but my personal best. Harvested non-typical this morning at 7:30 am. Range was about 60 yards and on the run. His rack has 19 points of more than 1 inch in length and an additional 3 for a total of 22. Field dress weight is 215 lbs. Freezer full of meat this year! :D Grizzly-Papa...

Usually use up all the scent and use fresh for the next year. Question: I had very good success years back with a scent mixture of apple and doe-in-heat. I do not remember the actual name but Canadian Tire used to carry it. Cannot find the product anymore. I can certainly credit some 10 pointers on ...

Harvested Oct. 3rd at 7:30 am shortly after a heavy thunderstorm had made it's way through the area. I was seriously questionning if it was wise to be in a tree stand at that time but glad I stayed put. Deer was taken at a distance of 35 yards. The Exomag equipped with varizone scope launched a GT c...

My choice for all field work as always been the finger grooved Buck. It needs frequent sharpening in my opinion but ultmately gets the job done including carving pumkins for the kiddies. :) http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r211/grizzly-papa/100_1668.jpg For cutting bones, I rely on the Wyoming saw...
