Re: Fishing in Florida
We used to go to Pine Island and I'd take my 14 foot Lund. Inshore fishing in ine Island Sound is great. Spotted sea trout, redfish and the lady fish are a riot.

Re: Need help with Spitfires
I've watched this discussion many times over the years. My carved tip Exomag had issues with never before fired Spitfires opening from the shot the first year they came out. I can't answer why some of us have issues and some of us don't. I went back to the Wasp fixed blade that Bill T. advised when ...

Our trailer went through Charlie (Survived) so we went down and spent a week on Pine Island in August. UPSman, you can have it. Too warm for this Canuck.

Re: Who Knows Which Way the Wind Blows?
A mentor of mine had a one man sign shop. His hunting gear was always hung up there with the paint, thinners and what all smells year around. He smoked in his stand and peed on the ground from his tree stand and always got his deer and some came from downwind to him. I remember a doe that came from ...

Re: Loc- Tite
To loosen Loctite put an allen wrench in the head, warm up (not red hot) the allen wrench just above the bolt with a small torch and that will liquefy the Loctite and make the bolt grow. You may need to change allen wrenches after heating and before turning

Re: How long after?
Mine was Sept. 2013 and my doctor said that year was out for any shooting. I got his blessing the next year. I was about 10 weeks before I was mostly painfree. Hope this helps. Don't rush it and best wishes. PS I shoot an Exomag carved tip and use a rope cocker.

Scored in South-West Ontario
I'm a meat hunter. 1st mature deer I see I shoot, if it's brown it's down. Got a mature doe at first light this morning. What makes this so special is it's my first bow deer in about 5 years. Two years ago I needed a double bypass and was sick for about 3 years before that. Last year I got a "s...

I'll ask. What's a peanut butter jar? I know peanut butter comes in jars but I think you're referring to something else.

Re: Excalibur Customer Service - WOW!
Monica, my Exomag is probably 20 years young and about 5 years ago I had a latch issue where my bow would automatically want to dry fire. I sent an email and was given a W/O number and told to send my bow in. It was repaired free of charge and Excalibur even paid the return postage. The only company...

Re: My new rubber boots
I've always worn Sorrel boots with the felt liners in the cold weather. Find now as I'm getting older and the diabetes and heart issue catch up to me they're not enough. Last year I stated using the hot hands and hot feet packs or the Dollars Store clones and they work great. No more painful burning...
