Re: Glad I had my camera.

A game farm near Blenheim had 1? escape a few years back. MNR at that time said we could shoot it and we didn't have to tag it. Like was said before, mighty tasty. Now the Ministry wants them reported I think.

Re: Sound Suppression Question

Still shoot the aluminum bolts and 125 grain wasps that Bill recommended when I bought it. Just wondered if there was something like the rubber buggy bumpers around. I see there is on the web site. Anyone have an opinion on them. I keep my shots at 25 yards and less because of the noise. I can shoot...

Re: Ontario MNR Draw Results Page

7 pool 1 gun hunters in a group in 15a and we were UNSUCCESSFULL. Something is wrong with this system. I still liked the paper applications best. We knew who was in pool 1 and pool 2 and there was no errors on the phone or to quote Yosemite Sam the "flitzerblitzen internetty thingy". I'm ...

Ontario MNR Draw Results Page

Moose draw results are out. We got lucky with the new group sizes and got a gun bull with just 3 pool 1 hunters in 15A. Here is the link I used.
Good Luck

Sound Suppression Question

I've got an older Exomag carved tip limb model that I've had since it was new. I am not going to buy a new bow 'cause this one is a keeper. Just wondering if there is anything out there that will quiet it down some.
Thanks

Don, we've never met but as of now "She who must be obeyed" and I plan on being there. We've got a 25 foot trailer we want to bring.

Re: De-Cocking Arrows

I ground a field point flat, put it on a slightly bent aluminum arrow that got hurt in a deer years ago. I fire it into the ground when I'm on the ground. Never had a problem and best of all no injuries  been using this arrow and method for years in my old carved tip Exomag.

Re: excelllent cheap target for 200lb xbow

For broadheads I use BLUE 2" syrofoam. Pink or white doesn't work. Cut down to 24" long pieces. This gives 3 pieces or 6"thick. I need 6 pieces or 12" thick for my older carved tip Exomag. I have 4 pieces of 1 X 2 spruce to bolt the top and bottom with 1/4" threaded rod from...
