Re: Turned my vixen into monster

I'm thinking of having Danny Miller cut an inch off my Ibex rail and make it a thumb-hole Vixen. I'm learning with this shoulder recovery that I might be better off with a crossbow with a bit less poundage in the pulling stroke and one that isn't as long when holding. Thanks for your posts and keepi...

Re: NAP Quick fletch!

I've used them the past year and so far no problems. I've shot enough with other folk who use the traditional style of vanes to know my Quickfletch's aren't a liability ... they hold their own ... maybe they don't "gild the lilly" when it comes to accuracy, but they are accurate enough for...

Re: My New Matrix 380 or 320?

Thanks for the photos. That arrow retainer is sure close to the string. (Makes me appreciate how short the rail is.)

Beautiful crossbow ... well done.

Re: My New Matrix 380 or 320?

Congratulations on finally having your rig the way you want it. That 2 inches shorter Matrix must balance real nice. Look forward to hearing how your speed tests go.

All the best.

Re: String Jig

Nicely done and great looking string.

Did you make the string yourself?

I've only been able to re-serve so far. Not able to make a string yet.

Re: 2nd Crossbow Magazine Podcast - Triggertech Interview

TBrom, A TriggerTech 2.5 lb. for my Ibex is what I'm putting my Christmas money towards. It might turn into a birthday, Christmas fund gift but I'm positive it will be worth it. I've yet to read a negative review. It would be great if it came as an option on future Matrix models. All the best, John

Re: 2nd Crossbow Magazine Podcast - Triggertech Interview

21:38 ... Rick ... Right in the sweet spot of speed 330 (describing a new crossbow model) 24:38 ... Todd ... I think the speed thing is a non-issue, 330, I'm very happy shooting 330 fps, I could shoot that the rest of my life and be happy (The above may not be typed exactly as they said it, but it'...

Re: 2nd Crossbow Magazine Podcast - Triggertech Interview

I really like this part of the Podcast, 22.53 - 24.47 . The lead interviewer, Mike, brings up " Speed vs Durability ". The answers and insights Rick and Todd give were very interesting to me. It seems the higher up the speed goes the more opportunity for a crossbow to reside in the repair ...

Re: New string on 380

Ranger ... sharp string there. There's something special that happens when you get your first Boo string .... you kind of sit back, look at your crossbow and think, "Yep, It's perfect now." :D All the best with your BEE order ... all the testing I did last year confirmed for me that they a...
