Re: well Boys I did it!!! I ordered my Micro 335 from Danny.
Congrats on the Micro. I've been wanting one, but still need to save my pennies some more. Been thinking of a Grizzly for the boy. Thanks for your service in the military also! My brother recently retired from the Navy is about 90-95% disabled due to various injuries he sustained. Being around him, ...

Re: WHAT CH'ALL BE USIN FER UR TURKEY CALLS?
I was once given some advice many many years ago, ..... it is not so much the sounds you make, but the rhythm you make .......and after so many years, I think it is the best advice given to a turkey hunter. Yep, what Tom said is true. Some of the "worst sounding" calling I've ever heard c...

Re: WHAT CH'ALL BE USIN FER UR TURKEY CALLS?
I take a vest full of calls when I go. Mostly I use a pot call. I've also got several box calls that I take. There's always a mouth call or two mixed in there as well. The main calls I use are made by Cane Creek Calls. They're down here in Eastern KY. Super nice folks to deal with and they make some...

Re: Got the monkey off my back!!
Congrats Stan! You cooked up the legs and thighs yet? Our Youth season is coming up this next weekend, so hopefully I'll at least get out there with the boy and do some calling. I've got to wait until the 18th before I get to tote a gun. :( Been getting quite a few pictures of some good birds...

Re: Trail camera cards ?
I plan to buy 2 more trail cameras and I don't want the ones my camera won't read how do u tell the difference in them ? Are all of the cards the same storage size? It may be that your camera can't handle a certain size memory card, but your trail camera can. It could also be the brand of card you'...

Happy Birthday Don! I'm a little late, so I'm guessing that the fire department has gone off standby because of the cake?

Re: GAME CAMERA USERS!! !!
I'm currently running 23 cameras down on our farm. The majority are Moultrie D-55 and D55i. I've got one old Bushnell that has been a war horse. That thing just won't die! It's been taking pictures year-round for about 5 years now I think. I think I've got 1 Moultrie D-555i, 4 Moultrie D-50's,...

O/T - Sporting Ammunition & the Firefighter
I found cool video on the SAAMI (Sporting Arms & Ammunition Manufacturers Institute) site. It's titled "Sporting Ammunition and the Firefighter". The video shows what happens to ammo when it's fired outside of a firearm, dropped from 65 feet, ran over and grinded by a bulldozer, and se...

Re: Another reason to check for ticks
I read an article about this a few months ago. Bad stuff indeed! You might as well just go on and put me out of my misery if I couldn't eat red meat anymore! There's some stuff out called Mozi-Q. http://www.mozi-q.com/ It's an all-natural insect repellant (mainly meant for mosquitoes) that y...

Re: O/T Look Out Squirrels!!
Good luck with the HMR Dan. I love mine! They're squirrel killing machines! It's not uncommon to take 100+ yd shots with them once all of the leaves fall. On grays the little 17 grain V-Max bullets will pretty much decapitate one. On fox squirrels, it will bug the eye out on the side that the...

Gotta love them Swhackers! I use the 125 grain. A little heavier and more intense flavor, but still essentially the same result.vixenmaster wrote:2" 100gr swhackerEasy Money wrote:Wow what broadhead were you using? Smacked er good
