Re: Longevity of crossbow strings
If it is not broke, do not try to fix it.

Re: Warranty work
Tom, I does sort of get to me as if you read some of the comments you would think we are truely amateurs at this and I assure you we are not. I am also not new to Excalibur as I've shot their bows now for over 20 years. Before that I shot compounds. Before that I shot recurves, before compounds even...

Re: Warranty work
Yes, it has been resolved, I think. At least he was told new limbs are coming to him. Still, he should not have had to jump through hoops to get some warranty work done. I also do not understand why they did not want him to go to the warranty center when he was willing to drive there. The archery sh...

Re: Warranty work
I probably should have added that the archery shop also said that when they cocked the bow, they could hear cracking in the limb. Again, I am amazed over this whole thing.

Re: Warranty work
One more thing is making a decision based on a picture. Sometimes pictures do not tell the whole truth. It would certainly seem that they would take the word of an archery repair shop though but in this case, they did not.

Re: Warranty work
Well guys, I can understand why you are standing up for Excalibur. I always have stood up for them too. To answer though, no, there is no loose screws. No the scope is not loose. Yes, this was also confirmed by the archery shop and they are also very put out with Excalibur. However, the first answer...

Re: Warranty work
That is probably true Tom. Yet, keep in mind that the Excalibur sales people do not agree and they too are shamed over this.

Re: Warranty work
Wow is right for sure! When he called me this morning he was about fit to be tied. Myself, I could hardly believe it. Even the store where he bought the bow was amazed at the lack of response from Excalibur. I want to help him but am really at a loss right now. I have directed him to do a couple thi...

Re: Warranty work
That was done this morning and the reply is what I posted. They said no go on the fix as they did not think (looking at the picture) that it was bad. That simply amazes me. He tried to contact them again but they won't answer the phone.

Warranty work
Wondering if anyone has had problems with Excalibur not honoring their guarantee and warranty? Case in point is a neighbor. He came to me a few days ago wanting help. Suddenly his bow won't shoot accurately. I immediately thought perhaps the crosshairs on the scope had gone bad. Long story short, he...

Re: Has the RUT started in your area?
I finally saw a doe in heat last night but so far there has been very little activity except the young bucks getting excited as they usually do early on.

3-D target for crossbows
I've not used a 3-D target for quite some time but would like to get one again. But it begs the question, are there any made that will work decently using the crossbow?
