I've had a couple of Bushnell rangefinders, they work ok, but I really prefer the Lieca that I have now, much better optics. I don't even carry my pocket bino's anymore, I just use the Lieca.

But then the guys I work with call me an optics snob. :?

I use paypal only when I have no other choice. For any firearm related purchase I use these guys:

GearPay

While I don't like the way that ebay and paypal do certain things, I am often forced to use them. Either that or do without some of the things I want and can't get here in ND.

Or, if you have enough coin you can buy one of these:

Biodiesel Processors

No fuss, no muss, just dump the stuff in and turn it on.

How do you get good contact between the ring and the scope tube with the zip tie in there? Wouldn't it be a better idea to go with a higher ring, maybe a medium?

I've had a Bushell YP 600, and a YP 1000. Neither came close to my Leica 1200, the optics are sooo much better.

But, they are are little bit more than you are looking to spend.

My opinion, save a bit longer and get a Leica.

Agreed, the only thing the cables and chains are good for is stopping the guy who is walking through the trees, see's an opportunity to take a stand that is not locked and does so. If the same guy notices that it is locked to the tree he decides it's too much trouble. You will never stop the guy tha...

Me too.

The only one I've ever had stolen was before I got the cable lock.

Don't believe the adults eat, they only live for about a week, maybe 10 days. Just long enough to mate and lay eggs.

If it is as cold there as it is here in ND he would likely freeze in mid-flight. :?
