Re: 2015 slick trick xbow heads
Had a customer support representative at slick trick tell me that there is absolutely no difference in the 100 grain "crossbow" and "magnum" heads. Only that they offer a 150 grain under the "crossbow" name. They had distributors that were requesting that they package s...

Yeah, those ramcats are wicked. You're going to love that setup.R4fan wrote: Nice, I'll have the exact same setup. Zombie Slayers with RamCats. I just opted for a yellow cock vane and the two hen vanes are green.

Re: Anyone recently order from South Shore?
All good things come to he who waits.... The zombie slayers that Jerry built for my micro are a work of art. WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!! Hang in there, you will NOT be disappointed. And get ready for your jaw to drop when you see how accurate your Excal will be. http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/zz319/c...

A Micro Family
How's that saying go, "A family that hunts together stays together." My father in law has always wanted a crossbow. As soon as he shot my first Excalibur (a vortex), he was sold on the Excalibur brand. He debated it and then when I picked up my Micro, he just had to have one. Well, yesterd...

Re: micro accuracy results with different bolt weights
I did not have good accuracy when I tested the FOC's with the standard quill. Arrow flight was erratic at 20 yards and that just got worse as I went out to 30-40 etc. I'm no expert, but I don't think the quills have enough spine for that head. I also do not understand why Excalibur sends you arrows ...

Re: BEST MECHANICAL BROADHEADS
Is there such a thing as too many broadheads? I have mechs, I have fixed. Like them both! Now... What about the "hybrid" heads? I'm about to try out a hybrid head made here in GA. Called the Bi-Polar broadhead. www.bi-polarbroadheads.com Looks mean. Having great results with spitfires, and...

Re: Rotating string?
Scope is rock solid. I did use the blue thread locker. Had it zeroed, but after I rotated the string and shot again, I shot 2" left and 1" low. Adjusted scope and Zinging zero all day long again. Just found it odd that rotating the string would make such as difference. I didn't add any twi...

Rotating string?
How often are you guys rotating your strings? And... should this change my point of impact?
I'm using one of Danny's flemish strings on my micro, and noticed that when I rotated my string, I had to adjust my scope a bit to get it dialed back in.

Tightening the two trigger block screws fixed my "popping" problem. Thanks for the advice!

Re: confused micro bolts
I for one was not satisfied with the quills. Yes they are somewhat accurate. But I just wasn't getting the same level of pinpoint accuracy I have come to expect from an Excalibur. My old vortex with firebolts was outshooting my micro hands down. I ordered some custom black eagle zombies from Jerry a...

Re: Micro pops !
The trigger block screws are what holds the trigger unit to the mainframe. To access them, you'll need to remove your stock from the mainframe. They are hidden from view, but you can reach them with your Allen wrenches once the stock is removed. I removed my stock. So just to be sure, the trigger b...
