Re: M405 an Mechanical Broadheads

Heavvyduty On my 405 I've had very good results with Grim Reapers. Don't buy regular heads. Get the crossbow model 1883. These were made for 400 fps plus speeds without the need for banding. Great bloodtrails. A couple of the deer I've taken so far fell without taking another step. Everyone has an o...

Re: New Missouri Crossbow Hunter

Welcome Mb85
Last year was my first time to try hunting in Missouri. I enjoyed it so I plan to go back and bring my Excal. What ever model you choose it is backed by a damn good warranty.
Good luck

Re: Best Matrix Series Crossbow Poll

I like the 405 for the kill power down range. Would like a 355 for backup.

Re: Vanilla extract as a cover scent ?

Hey Georgia Boy Hope you're doing well. Not sure about the cover scent but I've had older gun hunters say it will draw them in. If you're open to suggestions try this. First make sure you and your clothes are as scent free as you can. Find a spot where you can get upwind of a bedding area then put r...

Re: Thank you Bloodtrail!!! > Met a good forum member today!

Vic, No need to go out of your way to thank me but it is very appreciated bro. Just following the way I was raised I guess. Us good hearted folks have to help each other as best we can because sometimes it doesn't appear that there are many of us left. Just watch the news if you know what I mean. Th...

Re: Help with model

Excalibur backs up their bows for sure.
The 405 is a great choice for what you want. Use the rope cocker for hunting and a C2 crank for practice . Post pics of big hog kills.

Re: Turkey feathers fletching

Boo and WELSHMAN I have a rookie question. I have always fetched with glue and never get to the end of a tube before it sets up and can't use it later. I've never known someone to use fetching tape. When using tape does the fetching handle many shots through practice sessions? Where do you purchase ...

Hey Vic,
Glad to hear things were not worse. Some tractor accidents don't end well.
Get well soon my friend. Thoughts and prayers.

Re: broadhead selection

Welcome GI Joe
Spend time here and you will shorten your learning curve. As for broadheads you will see it's a preference of choice ....... kinda.
Enjoy that new bow.
