Re: Chinese made broadheads
Kev, If Canadian retailers would stop hosing us, id be happy to buy Canadian. Think about it, when our dollar was on par with the US, for quite a few years I might add, do you know of any stores that reduced their prices???? Now, as soon as our dollar went in the crapper, all the stores raised thei...

Re: Lock and load
So when you're in a field, pheasant or quail hunting, only one guy has a shell in the chamber? There are other common sense ways to be safe, staying in line, wearing blaze orange, etc. Sober people who are experienced in gun safety can hunt without shooting anybody by controlling their muzzle and k...

Re: New Matrix 380 in route, question!
I did it with one of my bows, I don't recall with one.
Found out its way more fun to shoot it.
End result. Arrow goes fast.

Re: Lock and load
I guess I am in the minority . I will tell you why , Three of us when we were 15 and 16 went after some geese that landed on the river , We were walking at the edge of a corn field to get there . My buddy last in line had a Win. 12 ga, pump . We don't know if he put the hammer down or not but he tr...

Re: Assassin String advice
I think one point that we often forget is that we, as members of this forum, are in the huge minority. We shoot our bow far far more than the average crossbow owner. This is a real problem for us, thats true. And we demand perfection. But what we often forget, is that 90%+ of crossbow owners will n...

Re: New Matrix 380 in route, question!
Some do it, some dont. All your really doing is stretching the string on it faster so it settles down quicker.
Nothing stretches it faster than shooting it.
Set your brace height 3/8 above the bumpers and start shooting, twist the string up when it gets past 1/4".
