Wabi, very interseting! Looks like you have to put the cap and then screw on the cover? :? It's hard to tell from the picture in the ad.

I have the Lyman Trade rifle .54 cal 1:48 twist(handles round balls just fine) and a Traditions Tracker .50 cal 209 inline. They both shoot great. However, when I hunt, I exclusively hunt with the inline. It uses inexpensive 209 shotgun primers that give very positive ignition(I have yet to experien...

2213 shafts would get you closer to your objective. 4" vanes at 7 degree offset will give you better flight with a broadhead. (I'm not sure 3" is enough other than for field points.)

...I think your right guest. Sorry. :( I thought it was one of those crossgun contraptions...those muzzleloader things that shoot arrows....and another fellow trying to raise our hackles by talking about it. Those asian crossbows are basically toys. They shoot tiny short little arrows at poor veloci...

..."guest", and you are who?

We get a little skittish around here. Trolls do visit from time to time. You don't think someone who signs up the same day to say he's going back to a compound a little bizarre? C'mon.

Excellent statement of the facts and a very well argued case for the use of crossbows. This should be the standard arguement for all the left over states and provinces that aren't on board yet...just may need to be tweaked/personalised a little to correspond to local realities.

I have to be honest here. I love all weapons...and really enjoy my crossbow. However, I will always bring along my vert compound and shoot it as well. It does take more practice to shoot a bow and therefore becomes a little more "entertaining" for target shooting. I must admit I sometimes ...

Excaliburs have exceptional triggers! Set triggers sound sexy on fine European rifles, but have little to no use on a good crossbow. Remember, the trigger holds all the weight of the bow...that's 225 lbs of pressure on the Exomax.

...far too many alligators in Florida! They've gone from near extinction, to living in your backyard in ground pool!
