Re: O/TO/T O/T NO HUNTING!! NEED ARROW HELP
That weight sounds about right. If you're using a Flemish string, I would guess around 290. I got 304 with my Ibex using 360 grains.

Re: 40 yards, free hand!
I read an article many years ago about shooting off hand. It pertained more to rifles at the time, and the heart of the conversation was about deer hunting from treestands. Re: I ordered my Christmas Present
Brian called me this morning to let me know he was charging my debit card! :D I hope there is a way that he can put this all back together not only for the consumers, but the folks that worked for him, his own family, etc. When he emailed me to call him, I just wanted to thank him for his dedication...

Holiday Wishes!

Re: 40 yards, free hand!
You got that right! I practice off hand more than anything with the crossbows. There are a few members that have gone shooting with me to testify to that! This Micro takes that ability to whole new level though.

Yep, went to the aluminum nocks so i can pull them shorties out. They go in deep with the broadheads using the 18-1 Rinehart, We'll find out how good that glue is on these things!

Re: matrix 330 or micro 335
Either one will do the job, but the Micro is the best one in my opinion for hunting in a blind, or treestand. That is a good price, go Micro!

That bag target has been whooped on with the Micro, Matrix 355, Vortex, and my first Excal. The Ibex, surprised it stops the sun from going through it.jeepfreak wrote:Nice shooting Dan ! That is something buried that far at 40 yards !!!

I think it was Oppie here on the forum that had his "Violated" at his little private shooting range right before the rut went full on! It was tore up!
