I would like to offer a group hunt to any members of the excalibur list, I have a little over a hundred acers north east of Peterborough and would like to try and get a group together for a crossbow hunt. I have plenty of spots to put people, so if you would like to get out for a hunt and maybe meet...

I have been using Spitefire 100gr broadheads for the last 5 years, I have now (with the buck I got on Saturday) killed 5 deer with them. I use an Excalibur Exomag and have never had a problem with them opening in flight. I do replace the blades and retention clips every year on the ones that I hunt ...

Question
Do you think that if you are shooting at deer, at 30 yards or more they could see the bolt in flight. The reason I ask is because I took a shot at a deer this weekend that was up wind of me and had no idea that I was there. I did misjudge the distance but when I fired, the deer look like it caught m...

Thanks everyone, the deer was an 8 pointer and wieghed in at 195 ponds dressed. I was in the stand at about 6am, I had some doe scent out, it was very windy about 7:15 I caught some movement to my left about 100 yards away. The deer crossed a tractor path into the swap, about 10 min later the deer c...

Got One
I decided to go out in the wind on Saturday for a hunt, about 7:45 am I had a nice 8 pointer come in to 25 yards, I took the shot and hit him square, he only made it 75 yards and was down. Here are a few pics The Deer http://photobucket.com/albums/b205/Devilsedge/th_deer.jpg Future deer hunter http:...

I used it last year and mixed it with the apple flavored Buck Jam I poured it over a rock about 20 yards form my tree stand. The deer have dug a hole about 1 foot wide by about 2 feet deep all around the rock. I have just put more out last week to try and keep them coming in. I wish I had a trail ca...
