Hip vs xbow mount

I was using a hip quiver, and was losing arrows when walking thru thick cover. After looking at several mounts,I made my own using left over aluminum bar stock and 2 bolts. It holds the quiver about 3 inches above the limbs, and does not interfere with my scope.I use a kwikie kwver.

Grounf Blind is the way to go

I hunt from an Ameristep Penthouse blind. I shot a doe this year and last, with a 10 mph wind. The blind will keep your scent contained, and I see more deer than I ever did when I hunted out of a tree stand.Oh Yea,I stay dry in the rain too.

Montec

I hunt from a ground blind, and I actually found my arrow. Both the arrow and head were not damaged,so I sharpened the head and put it back in my quiver.

Got my first deer with the Phoenix & 100 gr G 5 Montec. She was on the food plot at 22 yards, and ran about 50 yards before she piled up. She will be good eating....

G5 Montec

I killed a doe this fall with the G5. I spined the deer, which dopped where it was standing.I had to shoot it again thru the lungs to end it. They fly the same as my field points. I cannot comment on the blood trail. Maybe this year my shot will be a bit lower.

M & P

I have the M&P full size 45. It's the smoothest and best shooting 45 I have ever shot. You will be very happy with a M&P. I still love Glock, but this is right next to it.
