greywolf makes his own from the excal bolts. They are a little better balanced and you can get brass inserts and etc with them. In other words, they fly better supposedly. Dan Miller, excal rep sells bolts for these also. Again, they are excals modded to perform a tad better supposedly I just ordere...

id go to a pro shop also..They have a tool that tells you your draw lenght and then its up to youy body to see how much weight you can draw back. Everyone's so obessed with how much they can draw back. Its like a bragging contest I guess.. I can draw back probably 75-85pounds but I only have mine se...

If you are using you hips against the stock you are doing it wrong.. All focre should bd on the limbs ONLY. I can string my 210 Exomag (modified with the forward riser) with no problems and I'm 67 years old and not big by any means. woody, i didnt mean to sound like I was using my hips on the stock...

i dont like the crankaroo just because it sounds like a playing card in a bike's wheel. Thats fine if you cock the bow before hunting, but in the stand or close to it, well.. that isnt gonna work lol

Actually from PA, but joined the Navy 26 years ago (still on active duty). Rich ive got a buddie down the road thats been in it for 10-years...

Actually any of the new risers should require the same force to string. They are definately harder to do than the old type riser! I string my Phoenix by hand, but I find I do need to wear stiff soled shoes and really throw my weight into it. (I weigh about 170) The first time I strung it I had to m...

self stringing the ecet suks

I just dont have enough azz to shove the thing over to get enough slack and they pull the other limb back a lil to get the string on the loop. I tired doing it like they do on the vid, but i just cant hold the thing over with my hips far enough. Any farther and the bow starts to slip like its gonna ...

Sounds like a good idea. As far as the bow tech stuff keeping that in the "general" forum section is fine with me. I don't find that the forum is overly cluttered. thats fine also.. but being new here I kinda felt weird posting about bow questions when everyone else was talkign about gett...

TTT Crazyfarmer this is for you. I scored it at 134 but had 7 deductions hahah, i knew you did this when I saw the post back up at the top awesome deer! Im guessing that one of mine would be in the 130ish range roughly.. anything in the 120-140 range is a good decent buck no doubt! I take you mount...
