Deer density is not high in my area and I think you guys are right; lots of forbs & browse this time of year, yummier stuff than immature corn. Perhaps that will change as the season moves on. I've also heard it said that deer eat a cornfield from the inside out (security cover). Gotta check that.

Good post Vixen! Thanks for quantifying this. I had my 165 chronographed years ago, but I don't remember the speed. However, when I put Magtips and a FF string on it, and combined it with lighter arrows (368 gr. w/ head), there was a noticeable increase in speed and a flatter trajectory.
