What pisses me off the most is that the average joe/jane hears this report and thinks something's working here and that it's getting guns off the "streets", without digging any more into it!!! There are some responses though, at the end of the article which state what some people really th...

Hey Fletch, I think they said 43% of the 92 were registered guns. And I believe most if not all of them were probably just surrendered - I cannot say that for sure though.

What a load of crap!

Newspaper report on gun registry

I heard this on the radio today. The Ottawa Citizen's report on city police gun siezures makes it sound like the registry's actually doing something. Sounds like we're not getting the whole facts but just what they want us to hear....wankers!!! Typical media style - twisting the facts. http://www.ot...

I switched to left handed shooting about 5 years back, when I realized I was left eye dominant. I was always using my left eye to shoot, but a problem occurred when I could no longer see through my scope properly. The change was pretty smooth and I shot my first turkey that year. I agree, I don't th...

Anyone else have any experience with any particular breeders in the area? I'm just looking for personal recommendations if there are any out there.

Thanks for the replies. The dog will primarily be a pet for the family, however, I would like to be able to train it to help me find downed deer. I realize that this would probably not be the best choice of dog to follow blood trails, but this is the breed we chose for the family. If all it ends up ...

Lab Breeders in Eastern Ontario

Does anyone have any experience or recommendations with Labrador Retriever breeders around the area. We are hoping to get one in the next few months. We have to decide on colour still, however we are leaning heavily towards yellow.

Any input is appreciated.

I doubt the arrow would bury entirely in the frozen ground. It is possible that you may not have the exact spot where the arrow came through. You should always do everything possible to find arrows. Farmers don't think too kindly of broadheads, etc found in thier hay/feed in the barn. (I have come a...

Nice mount.

Golden Eagle, why did your buddy not keep the bottom jaw? I think the mounts look good with the entire skull intact.

I drive around alot for my job. If I see a productive tree/s, I stop and ask permission to pick them up off the ground. In 3 years, I 've yet to be denied access. Most people are more than happy to get rid of the "mess". :)

I wish getting access to hunting ground was this easy.
