I my ibex is 272 with a 500gr arrow

I have shot through the mesh many times killing deer,turkey and hogs etc have never had a problem except with a non fixed broadhead and it sure keeps the bugs out . But i would watch for rain freezing on it. Take your blind out set it up and try it you will feel better about it that is what i did ye...

My matrix 355 was perfect right out of the box but nobody on earth can make it the way i want it , i changed so much i can't even remember it all.

I think i will take a 1" strap and bolt it to the stirrup holes and see how i like it.

Has anyone replaced there stirrup with a strap was wondering how it would work

I was using the shrink wrap the arrows rubbed a hole in it and the feathers caught it causing bad groups

Go to wal-mart and pickup some yarn cut 12 3" or 4" pieces for each side unstring your bow and put them in 7" from each end restring and shoot they work well and will not come out.

I have ADF,s on all my excaliburs and i am always loaded on stand.

My Ibex is shooting 273 with a 500gr total wt. 2219

I agree you will kill all the deer you want with the bare bow i just don't like the noise, I have wrapped the foot rest with rubber put on limb savers and yarn in the string with all my excaliburs and it does help with the yarn being the biggest help. I also shoot 500gr arrows on all my bows.

I add 12 3" pieces of yarn about 7" from the ends of the string just unstring your bow pull string apart in the middle and put them in and restring and shoot you will be shocked how much it helps.

I shortened my matrix retainer my moving the forward hole to the back and drilling a new front hole and cutting about 1" off the back end. { it is hard to drill )
