Butcher-I never bashed the g uy in question-I merely asked how he could sell bows for less than what legitimate retailers can buy them for and questioned if such tactics were good for the brand. as to his ratings I note that one poster who I don't know stated that he had problems with the guy and th...

I think Jim C is merely questioning how this guy can sell for less than dealer's cost, not intending to suggest we (the buying public) owe our loyalty to dealers only. After following the discussion, I'd like to know, too. Jim, If I may ask a question of you as a dealer, and I'll understand if you ...

I tend to believe bj over some who are saying otherwise but lets suppose what woodsman says is true. (I don't believe it is and I won't explain why :P) why should a small high quality pro shop such as mine continue to sell a bow that some internet guy can sell for 40 bucks less than what I pay for ...

nothing wrong with Ebay per se-my wife actually took a class and is planning on using it to move out consignment bows, used stuff and obsolete models. I have no problem with someone selling a new excalibur they may have won or were given below fair retail. what I worry about is this guy who has 3-4 ...

the burning smell is what happens with the anodization on the aluminum bolt subjected to friction. Moon nocks will WORK if positioned correctly-they were designed to correct the rare jump that happens with the bottom release Horton bow. I tell even horton shooters (I was one once :) ) to use the fla...

It is common practice for manufacturers to have different tiers of discounts depending on volume. The bow shop that sells 20 Excaliburs a yr. probably won't have the same discount structure as a shop that sells 200. The shop that sells 20 may get 25% off. The shop that sells 200 may get 40%off. The...

In the short run it will help you I suppose. In the long run it won't help you if there are no shops around to help you fix your bow or tie you a string in an emergency. you all seem to operate under the mistaken assumption that this guy is buying these bows for the same price legitimate retailers a...

again Pete you too miss the point. How is a small pro shop which is paying say 300 dollars per unit to a legitimate wholesaler going to sell that same vixen for 259 on ebay? how long will a manufacturer allow a wholesaler to sell to the public a bow at a price below what another legitimate wholesale...
