Re: AM or PM?
I prefer evenings, but will get out before daylight depending on where I hunt an deer movement. Missed a big doe earlier in the season, operator fault... I've had small does an yearlings within 25- 15yds, I like watching them too, but not in a hurry as muzzleloading comes in next Saturday. Le...

Fletching??
Haven't seen this one on here yet, unless I missed it. I ordered two packs of 6 (12) excalibur carbon arrows an they arrived yesterday. One pack had all yellow fleching an the other had all white. I'm probably only going to use the white fleched arrows for target since white is a danger sign for cri...

Re: Dissipator Bar Screw ?
Thanks JT, I put some wally world blue thread locktite on my threads, its medium strength so removes easily, and screws won't back out. Used it for years on my scope rings/mounts no problems.

Re: Dissipator Bar Screw ?
Took my dissipator bars off the ibex today as well. The "B" screw I got are silver, way too shiney for hunting, but OK for target till fall. I'm gonna try to get them dark...paint, gun blue, marker might work if not I'll call Dan. He sent these to me in the first place. I tightened the scr...

Re: Deer Hunting In Years
Killed my first deer at 22 while in USAF in S.Dak. then didn't really hunt them much with success till I was 33 and Virginia opened up muzzleloader seasons an now allow crossbows for anyone with a license. So around 30 years all together. I now average 3-4 a season, but last year an one other season...

Re: 150 grain Slick Trick ?
The 175's come 3/pack with 3 practice heads included. I had to order extra blades for backup. I would guess the 150's are the same...secret wrote:Do the 150's come 3 to a pack? any extra blades with broadheads?

Re: When is it enough too many tags and wounded deer
Good topic!! I was very lucky this year to fill all my 5 tags. Only have done that one other time, mostly get 3-4 a season. I butcher my own and none of it goes to waste. Just put 4 pounds of jerky in the dryer for the grandkids visit next week, we all enjoy venison. I knocked down a big buck last y...
