you are right i had two groups of spotted fawn up till end of october.
the deer have disapeared here during day light hours.its gun season here,but im still using the crossbow in some areas.my nephew just got back from illinois hunt and seen very few deer.

i had one of my earlier bucks cape tore up.i decided to use the cape of another buck,and was happy i did.i just wanted to buck mounted as i seen him in the woods.was a honor to do it.so either way you feel about this buck will be fine.its how you want to honor your hunt for him.

i use the blind for turkey hunting.i use the big window,and leave the mesh in the two small windows for viewing.i sometimes dont open the window all the way.once your in there you will see how much to open for a good shot.i also use black cloths and face net.ive shot 4 turkeys out of mine with a bow...

cutting them up
for you guys doing your own deer.i use a electric fillet knife for removing the silver skins.once you learn this youll never look back.once i cut the meat off the bone,i use the ele3ctric fillet knife.works great on blue gills and perch too

i went to the feed store,there you can buy nylon,or cloth bags.i had old target with fiber loose fill.stuffed it in tight and works great.the bags are .75 cents each.im shooting 330fps ,and no problem.after i shot it full of test broadheads i just put another bag over it .i use a majic maker and add...

it also works with a field tip.i twist/screw it to break it loose.if you add brass inserts you will need to clean out the glue.i use a small round file from chain saw sharpener.the brass inserts are longer thats why you need to clean them up,JIM
