Had a varizone on my exomax, it worked great. When I bought my phonix in late december I had a lumizone installed on it, I have not hunted with it yet, but like the lighted cross hair in low light, if I need it. Hope this helps.

Looks great, cant beat curly maple for figure . usually see it on fine muzzleloaders. Do you hand carve or use a stock carving machine ? Again a very nice job , thanks for sharing John

Thanks everyone, I warmed it up snaped it into place tapped it with a small mallet, just like I knew what I was doing. could not of done it with out everyones help. Thanks again,.John

Question about a cheekpiece

Just bought a excal cheekpiece for my phoenix, IT is drilled for the cheekpiece , but the holes dont line up. any sugestions ? thanks

Ray Glad only the strings and your pride were the only things that got hurt. I remember from shooting muzzle loaders, as far as loading without powder, there are them that have and them that will. at least you are ok John
