That boy was doing some fighting before he met you!!! What a cool experience to hear one grunting as he's on the prowl for a hot doe. He was probably trailing the one you passed on.

Use em. Love em. They don't have the exact same POI for me as the field points, but they fly consistent. They are extremely tough and do some damage to whatever they hit.

I shot a buck last year and the arrow blew right through the far shoulder, the head was barely dulled.

Got my antlerless tag as well. I have been trying to only use this option if I don't have a buck down by December.

The water felt tropical. Had to go for a few dips to round out the day.
