Re: Wingbone call

Go to YouTube and look up a young man with the Chanel Catman Outdoors. He is young and makes wing bone calls. They sound real good. He gets a lot of turkeys using the wing bone call. He self films. Seems like a great young hunter. I’ve watched lots of his videos lately.

Re: New Member from Maine

I’ve spent a lot of time in Maine as well. Vacations, weekend ski trips, shopping for the ladies, used to travel down in March to the sportsman shows in Bangor and Augusta. I used to compete in pointing dog trials in Calais and Fryburg Maine. Met allot of great folks. Spent a few months in Millenock...

I am so deaf that I watch them gobble sometimes and still do not hear them. I do know how to call them in though. :)

Re: New Member from Maine

Welcome to the forums. I see your from Maine. I’m right next door in New Brunswick. I thank the great people of Maine for sending the wild Turkeys across the boarder. New Brunswick will someday have a wild Turkey season.
Cheers

Re: Bread Anyone? A Picture is worth a 1000 Words

Red River Cereal. LOL. Possibly the most disgusting breakfast you can ever receive as a child. Interestingly enough I just had a desire to try it again now that I'm mostly grown up. I think I will get a box on my next grocery run. It’s getting hard to find nowadays. I’ll tell you if you make bread ...

Re: Bread Anyone? A Picture is worth a 1000 Words

Those loaves look perfectly done! Thanks a bunch! My next step will be to make them 70% white flour 30% whole wheat. I also make a batch with Red River cereal! Mmm! Wayne The Red River Cereal is a porridge, or hot cereal, made with a blend of cracked wheat, rye, and brown flaxseeds that was first c...

Re: Bread Anyone? A Picture is worth a 1000 Words

Sour dough? No Don regular white bread. Those little loaves looked a little funky but if I do say so myself the flavour and texture are awesome. I have to make another batch in the morning.............looking at the clock that would be this morning. Dropped some off for my parents, a sister-in-law,...
