I unstring my xbow only when I'm not going use it for more than a couple of weeks, others I know don't unstring theirs for months on end and they still shoot straight. Just remember to remove the rubber pads from your disapator bars when you unstring you xbow for any length of time, they tend to go ...

North Hunter, finding a hard case for an Excalibur xbow is a task that is really hard. I searched for a case for my Excal. Wolverine for a long while in the early '90's but only found compound cases. I now use a double rifle case to transport my Excalibur xbows. Just take the bolts that hold the pro...

Deerslayer, this is a normal reaction to the vibrations of firing shot after shot, this has hapened to most of us. If you use a sparing amount of blue Loc-tite that will take care of of the bolts loosening up.

I prefer the Arizona E-Z fletcher, it is simple to use and can flettch 3 vanes or feathers at one time. (see below)
I also use a Bitzenburger fletcher the does one vane or feather at a time, but is more expensive at twice the cost.

I listed service first, price would be second. I don't mind paying a couple of bucks more and know that if I'm not satisfied I will be able to return it for another or get a refund without a hasssle.

Your best bet is the Varizone , it is adjustable for different speeds if you change bolts or go to a different xbow , it adjusts from 250 fps to 350 fps. the maxzone is built for xbow of 300 fps or more. I have more than one xbow and con swap from one to another with the Vzone.

I may have thought I wanted the best trophy animal I could get when I first started hunting back in '58, but as I got older and I hope more mature I was just happy to get out in the woods with a few like minded friends for a week or two away from my job in The Big Smoke and enjoy myself.

My varizone has the written R and has the thin crosshairs as opposed to the thick crosshairs on my maxzone scope.

We've got almost 450 members on the forum now and it take less than 5 minutes to register. We can keep a lot of gnomes and trolls out of our hair ( metiphoricly speaking ) and you'll have to log in to post also.
