I understand what you are saying but the real issue is how is this guy able to buy these bows and then sell them for less than what legitimate wholesalers are selling legitimate dealers? that internet shops that have no real overhead or professional archers staffing them will be cheaper is understan...

good post Carl. I always bought from the pro shop for the same reason-plus they used to let me shoot on "the house" and when I got good they made me a staff shooter. I often buy guns from two local s hops for more $$ than I would spend at a gun show for the same reasons plus they will spec...

pure capitalism? not really. this is a contract matter and I know having a contract with several major archery Manufacturers that there are certain things I can and cannot do. I don't have a contract with excalibur so this is not at issue here. I do with Hoyt and for example, if I saw LAS selling-to...

he sells a fair amount of them and one vixen the other night went for what MY wholesale cost is in the states. the current vixen he has up now is cheaper than what US Retail dealers can buy them for from Papes/LAS or even Dan. I am not in the archery business to make money (I am a lawyer by trade) b...

agree with wabi. As a long time recurve tournament shooter (I use X7 indoors-X10 or ACE outdoors) I note the following 1) the tolerances on aluminum -especially top grade stuff like X7 or XX78 is TIGHTER than the ALL Carbon shafts (its even tighter than most of the A/C shafts like the ACE). 2) I hav...

I don't broadcast my last name but just about anyone who is into crossbows knows my full name and how to get hold of me and know I am and know of what I speak. I use the same handle on AT, and sagittarius and as I said, those in olympic or crossbow archery know me

I own all three Ohio Legal Bows and I hunt only with the vixen for Ohio deer. I remember seeing pictures of Bernard Horton with big big moose shot in the early 80's with his "safari magnum" crossbow-the first plastic based stock with a 125 pound 12" draw recurve. still on big moose I ...

I switched to grim reapers last year because we were out of jackhammers-I lost a small buck with jackhammer tipped bolt last year even with a double lung pass through (one blade broke) but that was due to the deer sliding down a deep ravine in a heavy rain and I was told by the local constabulary no...

really doesn't matter. its not like deer are going to stand at 20, 30 or 40 yards. I have a varizone on only one of my several bows-the one I use for 3D. My hunting rigs just have the various yardage sets taped to the stock. haven't missed a deer yet save one time where the arrow clipped a stick tha...
