i bought a vortex this past summer and wanted a black color because all my hunting is done from ground blinds, but there was no color options, so after season is over i am sending mine back to the dealer to have it "dipped" in order to get the color that i desire....jeff

spray jig-a-loo on the first 3-4" of arrow and/or using a rubber arrow puller that gives you "gription" on the shaft, either works well for me.....jeff

a red dot is alot easier to see and no confusion as with multi line/dot scopes , and i have tried several brands/types of scopes(hawke,excal,parker). my vortex shoots any distance from 10-30 yards and holes can be covered with a tennis or baseball ball without any hold over. im sighted dead on at 24...

because i like it , just as some like any other color, and i will wear it any time of year.as far as hunting i wear black cuz all my hunting is done from either permanent or portable blinds.....jeff

i have been lurking and learning from you all the past couple months and after i read this thread i felt i should let my experience known. my sts came with those rubber stoppers with the channels and i was having terrible accuracy with my vortex. i found the rubbers rotated slightly on the rods whic...
