I'm interested in people's opinions on this too. I have heard the same but never noticed it. Most of our deer are coming out of a cedar bush/swamp. I was strolling through the bush the other day and they're feeding on the cedar like crazy. :shock: Even on a late season buck I never noticed any taste...

I'm with wildwindom with the smoking issue. Along with having a 4 month old now, they're killing my bank account and I'm pretty sure it's not helping my deer hunting. I don't smoke in my stand, but once I have some that day, it's on my clothes for sure.

I went out hunting Sunday afternoon. Still waiting for my first by the way, and times runnin out, fast. Pretty chilly. I sat in my stand till quitting time, nothing in sight but a lone grouse. Which we all know are tasty...but I had to pass. I got back to my truck, got changed(froze my a$$ off) and ...

Some hunting buddies I know picked up 7 vixens at once back in Sept. One guy organized it so he got the free scope. Anyways they paid $400 each and 4 of them have taken deer this year so far. I'd say they work fine.

Still waiting for my exocet to connect though.
