RIP Buster

Dad had to take our dog in yesterday, he was going down hill fast. At 15 lymphoma got to him and we did not want him to suffer, he had stopped really eating and had a hard time getting down the 4 steps to get back into the house. Buster was a small beagle, a brutal hunter but the best pet anyone cou...

Lets get back on track guys and gals.

This has been the most informative forum I have ever been a part of. The people here actually seem to care and put forth useful information not just pushing their beliefs. I don't know what happened but lets get back on track, a group of hunters using crossbows or whatever else to hunt and spend tim...

You would only need a skin if there was an open gun season for deer or moose when you are hunting small game. I just find it interesting that they are pushing this in the Ontario Out of Doors. OFAH showing orange ATV helmet slip covers

So I know most of you in Ontario hunt with guns and therefore need to wear hunter orange for rifle season. In the new OFAH mag they are trying to sell orange slip covers for the helmet. Why is this needed? I mean, you need to have a hunter orange hat on when you hunt, but you cannot hunt from an atv...

I have always had beagles, they all have their own little personalities as do any other dog. As for leaving them alone in the yard, they will most likely find their way onto a rabbit or deer track and you will hear them as they take off. I suggest unless you are with them and playing with them you w...

I was actually disappointed with the channel. The shows I wanted to see were constantly being re-run or worse only showed 1 minute of the shot then hammered you with advertising. Did anyone else notice how much of the hunts were on "ranches" like the elk hunt near Montreal, just worries me...

Make time to hunt, but in 3rd year college I guess that has to wait until next season.

I am going to get off the ground more, scared of heights but I need to do it.

I never posted on this thread but she is in my thoughts.
My family also had to deal with a severe car crash, things work out the way they are meant to.

Things are looking up, she will be home soon.
