Re: Could this be the Matrix Ibex Draw Weight?
So I think I misunderstood your question. Your math is correct a Matrix 305 (if there was such a thing) would need a draw weight of 207lbs to develop a velocity of 305 ft/s. Power stroke would be somewhere around 10.5 inches. Sorry I thought you wanted to mount matrix limbs on an ibex and pull them...

Re: Could this be the Matrix Ibex Draw Weight?
Crossbow physics are essentially the same as the physics of a spring. I am not sure but I believe the limbs on a 355 and a 380 are identical - the only real functional difference between the bows is the power stroke. Looking at the draw- weight compared to the power stroke yields a ratio of 19.6 lbs...

Texas Hog Hunting
I have a bunch of friends (no hunters unfortunately) that live in the Austin area and I wanted to plan a road trip down to Texas and thought it would be cool to hunt some hogs while down there. Does anyone know a good outfitter/guide service in that area? I would prefer free range hogs (no high fenc...

Re: additional seals Ontario
Open season tags for 82a are all gone. There may be some bows only left for 82a.
Managed to get extras for myself, 2 sons and the brother in law.

Re: Best Target Bag/Block
Thanks for all the great replies. I have ordered an 18-1 and it will arrive at the local bow shop on Friday. Those pullers look great - I think I can copy that design with an old pair of side cutters. I would love to come out to Boofest but I think the wife has plans for that weekend. I have a honki...

Re: Best Target Bag/Block
Was not able to remove the broken ends - can't even see them. I marked the locations on the block with magic marker so that I don't inadvertently shoot at those spots on the target.
Thanks for the advice - I'll pick up some lube today.

Best Target Bag/Block
I just picked up my new Matrix 380 and wondered what people are using for target bags/blocks. I have a block that I have been using with my Exomax but it is difficult (not impossible) to remove bolts and occasionally I snap one off while trying to remove it. I am hesitant to use it with the Matrix d...

Re: Charity Matrix 380
Congratulations! That was a big payment forward! I hope you can make it to Boofest as I and I am sure others would like to meet you. BTW, if the string colours were not to your liking let me know. Been reading a little about Boofest - where can I find details like when/where? Thanks, Joe http://www...

Re: Charity Matrix 380
Hello All,
New to the forum, but not to Excal. I was the lucky high bidder on the bow and picked it up today at Excal in Kitchener. What a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Also wanted to thank Krystal and Rob at Excal and to wish Kayla all the best.
