Yep, that'd be an eye opener. Might even make your eyes water I think xbow hunting has more things that can bite you than any other kind of hunting...gotta always be in your "A" game.

I too would not shoot a doe with fawns. But with the winters up here, if things got tough, the doe would chase her own fawns away from food. In that case (a very hard December) I would take a fawn as it would have less chance to survive and let the doe walk.

I've had a flemish string for several months....it is still stretching. With the string changer it is a 3 min job to put a few more twists in it. Its the nature of the beast.

Yep, ya gotta have confidence in what you're shooting. Enough things can happen without having that doubting feeling haunting you when you are hunting and there aren't any "do overs".

If you have long gun experience it is common practice to hit the safety for safety. If we treat the xbow with the same attitude there would be no dryfires.

I sure like my Exocet. 1st xbow and I don't see why I would want any other. And I gotta agree the info on this site and the help in the last year has been 2nd to none.
