Re: Arrow Weight-Does 14 Grains Matter?
Or... Up your broadhead weight. Switch to 125's. Still a hell of a lot of selection in the 125 class of broadheads. Then you'd be over by 10g and a 1 click up on your scope at 60 yards~ish. Doing this increases your FOC and KE on impact (if I'm not mistook) :edit: you would be AT 400gr... still with...

Re: My first try at this..
I don't know if it's my work or the ZS's or the xbow.. but damn these fly like they are on a rail ... Wife and I went out and did some shooting this morning. Gave her 6 and put the heavier FT's in 6 for me. After her first shot I told her not to shoot the same spot twice.. She sailed all 6 right in ...

Re: Make your own bolts...
I ordered directly from BEE. Price was comparable to what all the online archery stores sell for. Think it was around 90 for a dozen SZ .001.

That blows.. as much as getting to your stand and finding it missing! along with the game camera that would have given me who dun it..
Feel your pain though! Congrats on the friends kill.
I just hope my wife enjoys her opening day as much!

Re: Boy am I ready!!!
Good luck and be safe. I met a guy the other day at the grand opening where my wife is working... Wife introduced me to him and his wife, then said - tell my husband what you did to your thumb. Turns out he just bought a cheap crossbow and about his 10'th shot he almost removed his thumb nail and s...

Re: Is this normal for a Matrix 405
Is it normal? No. Does it happen? Yes. Couple of months ago there was a thread about going to the box stores that carry excalibur lines and that all the strings were on the bumpers (if they had them or ridiculously over the serving mark). They don't know to fix it and/or don't how. They don't offer ...

Re: A Moosee Hunting we will go
Definitely a bucket list item for someone way down south.. Elk is, also, on that list. Hope to find a good way to make that a regular thing though.
Enjoy the hunt, nature, and all of God's grace on your hunt. Stay safe!

The fellowship here is amazing. Reminds me of the good ol' days on the farm. Coffee is on in the spam (*when this posted it says spam not K I T C H E N o.0), not the little pot, the ol 32 cupper that made the whole house smell of coffee. The farmers coming buy for a cup and some fellowship on the wa...
