Re: Soft case Pics added

Looks great Dereck! I like it! Now you've got me thinking of making one too but I'm thinking of a different one piece slim-line design that would still be easier to load and would work well in ATV rifle racks.

Re: Butcher block

Beautiful table Chuck! Like others have said, you'll have that table for a lifetime of butchering. Was this course for a career or just for fun? I have friends that take carpentry courses or machine shop courses etc, year after year, just to have access to all the tools and equipment. If it was for ...

Re: Excalibur Hard Case (with pictures)

Hi Turtleman; I'm not actually the OP on this. Simplykaotic started this thread and put up some great pics. I've just been adding my 2 cents and answering questions. These cases are pretty new to the market. I hope they do well with the sale of these cases. Someone saw a need, had an original...

Re: Longer Turkey Season

I'm closer to Ottawa. Anything from Ottawa / Brockville going east is considered eastern Ontario. But I know your area. Every time I pass through there I can't help but wonder about the deer / moose and now turkey that must be around there. You must have some great hunting around there!

Re: Excalibur Hard Case (with pictures)

There's nothing wrong with those set ups. I saw one a while back that didn't require the handle to be cut out for the stirrup. The handle and the stirrup seemed to be perfectly aligned. I liked the bow case idea because it seemed to give you more room and offered some good arrow storage. But I found...

Re: Excalibur Hard Case (with pictures)

For sure Dutch!

I paid $145. I have no idea about shipping. But I suspect that as the year goes on, more and more archery shops will be carrying them.

Re: Longer Turkey Season

In the last 6 months I went from never seeing them around my hunting area to seeing around 100 of them. We still didn't see them by our deer stands though. But we're taking our turkey course next month and I've got some good spots already lined up for the turkey season. To the OP: It would be nice i...

Re: Excalibur Hard Case (with pictures)

Yup. I bought one of these before Christmas. I like it. The archery shop owner doesn't like dealing with the manufacturer though so he's not getting any more from them. He didn't say why but I suspect it's a French thing. If anyone is dealing direct and needs a translator just give me a shout. Gues...

Re: IS IT A gadget OR NOT ?

I went through a heck of a time mounting my vertical RF vertcally. Found out I'd been supplied with discontinued scope mounting brackets too small to allow the RF mount to be mounted vertically. Found some 1" mounts and never looked back. I hunted a lot with the RF mounted last fall. This year ...
